We Are One is a family band led by Ali, Shay, and Zay Khan, guided by their father, Faiyaz Khan. Ali brings energy and rap, Shay adds soulful vocals, and Zay’s passion lights up every performance. Together, they represent the voices of youth and the spirit of unity.

The best part is sharing laughter and creativity while supporting each other’s ideas. We have fun moments when recording—like when Zay suddenly freestyles or Ali adds a dance move that cracks us up. These moments remind us why we love making music together.

We love playing sports and hanging out with friends, and our parents ensure we keep our schoolwork and fun balanced with our music. Music is part of who we are, but we still get to be kids who love the game!

We are inspired by artists like Imagine Dragons, Alicia Keys, and The Weeknd for their passion and stage energy. From them, we’ve learned to perform with authenticity and connect deeply with our audience.

Start by singing every day, even if it’s just in your room, and record yourself to learn and grow. Don’t be afraid to share your voice with family and friends, and remember that confidence grows with practice and passion.

As a parent, I’ve seen how music can influence hearts and minds. I wanted to guide my kids to use their voices for something bigger than themselves—to spread messages of unity, kindness, and hope to a world that needs it.

We hope listeners feel inspired to believe in themselves and in the power of kindness, unity, and acceptance. No matter our differences, we can all stand together through music.

Traveling has opened our eyes to different cultures and stories. Dubai’s energy and diversity inspired us to include multicultural beats and themes of global unity in our music.
